Let’s connect!

If you’re ready to get started, have a few more questions, or want to learn more about my organizational and educational services, let’s start with a consultation.

Consultation calls are always free, and take about 15 minutes. They’re an opportunity for us to chat before you decide to schedule. You can ask me any questions you have, and I’ll ask you a little about what you’re looking for. From there, you can take some time to think about it or we can get you scheduled for your first session!

  • Choosing the right therapist or coach is very personal. It’s my pleasure to answer any questions you might have about my schooling, approach, affiliations, costs, experience and specialties. In my experience, it almost always comes down to relationship. Does it feel right? Do you feel understood? Do you feel heard? I always recommend trusting your gut when choosing a therapist.

  • I will send you links to open an account in a simple, user friendly patient portal. You will fill out some basic information that lets me get to know you better in advance of meeting. The first session is a time for us to get to know one another. I may start by asking questions about your past and your relationships with family. We may explore the present, your work, health, social life, family relationships, hobbies, etc.. We will look at what’s hard, what hurts, or what gets in the way of you living your best life. I will move as quickly or slowly as you need, to try and understand the reason you seek therapy or coaching. The first meeting is also a good time to go over any questions you have about me or the process. This session often runs about 55 to 60 minutes.

  • I hold a certain number of sliding scale appointments for clients who qualify. Clients always pay per session and almost always pay by credit card.

  • While I do not currently take insurance, I find many of my clients are able to get some reimbursements should they have out-of-network services. When needed, I also explore the possibility of fee scaling.

  • A standard session for individuals is 45 to 50 minutes. Couples or families might opt for an 1 hour session.

  • I am committed to accessibility, convenience, and safety (when health concerns limit travel.) Towards that end, I set the same standards for my virtual services as in-office services - ensuring client privacy and offering warmth and attunement at every session. When I offer psychotherapy, my clients must reside in the state(s) in which I am licensed. My coaching clients see me from virtually anywhere on the globe!

  • When I offer emotional literacy, relationship, parenting, and food allergy coaching, I can work with folks all around the globe! When I work as a therapist, I am licensed to see clients virtually and in person in NY, and I am licensed for telehealth for residents of VT and FL.
